IN a pre-Christmas boost for the multi-million-dollar beef industry, China has lifted its ban on the Teys Australia Naracoorte site. But as yet it is unknown if and when farmers will receive more than around $1.50 – $2.80 per kilo – which is what they are currently getting for the beef they produce.
