By Leanne Foster. Ladies took part in a Stroke Flag event last week. The weather was perfect for golf and the novelty competition was enjoyed by all players. Robyne Rainsford continued her winning way with her flag not being placed until the final stroke on the 18 th. Robyne had a great score of 72 nett. Congratulations Robyne. Sheryl Kinnane was nearest the pin on the third. On Sunday, men played a Stableford round. The course is looking good but in need of rain. Gavin Davis had 31 points and runner up was Fred Vella with 33 points. The winner today was Laurie Close with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the 11 th was Andrew Jude.
